Jgor

Terms of Use for the Shop Visit Companion

These Terms set the ground rules for using Jgor to keep a personal record of shops you visit, the details you note, and the media you attach. Please read them before you rely on the app as your visit journal.

By downloading or continuing to use Jgor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use and remove the app from your device. Questions may be directed to marten.desk@jgorplaces.com.

Eligibility to Keep a Journal

You may use Jgor if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and if using the app is lawful where you are located. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Jgor only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Jgor does not require registration or login. You may open the app and begin saving shops and visits without creating an online identity.

What Jgor Is Built To Do

Jgor is a personal, on-device companion for shop visits. Within the app you may:

  • Create and manage shop cards with names, locations, tags, notes, and wishlist status.
  • Log visits with dates, orders, companions, reasons, return intent, stay time, and free-form remarks.
  • Attach photos or videos captured with the camera or selected from your library.
  • Browse a home overview, recent activity, a visit timeline, and shop detail pages.
  • Review simple local statistics derived from your own entries.
  • Adjust appearance, optional launch animation, and check-in sound preferences.

Jgor is not a social network, marketplace, reservation desk, or map navigation service. Features you do not see in the product are outside the scope of these Terms.

License to Run the Application

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Jgor on devices you own or control, solely for your private journaling purposes.

You may not copy the app for redistribution, reverse engineer it except where mandatory law allows, rent or sublicense it, or use automated means to extract its design assets at scale. The license ends if you breach these Terms or stop using the app.

Rules for Everyday Use

When you add shops, notes, or media, you agree that you will:

  • Provide information you are allowed to keep on your device, and avoid content you have no right to store or display.
  • Refrain from using Jgor to harass others, invade privacy, or document people in unlawful ways.
  • Avoid malware, interference with the app's normal operation, or attempts to probe undocumented interfaces.
  • Respect third-party intellectual property when photographing storefronts, menus, or interiors.
  • Comply with the rules of the app store and the laws that apply to your conduct.

Your Notes, Photos, and Shop Cards

Content you create inside Jgor, including shop descriptions, visit narratives, tags, and attached media, remains yours. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, and sensitivity.

Because the journal is stored locally, we do not claim ownership of your visit archive. You grant only the limited technical permission needed for the app to save, display, edit, and delete that content on your device as you direct.

If you include names of companions or images of other people, you are responsible for obtaining any consent that may be required in your circumstances.

Intellectual Property in Jgor Itself

The Jgor name, interface layout, visual design, sound assets, icons, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

Preset tag labels and reason chips provided in the interface are part of the product design and may be used only as offered within the app.

Third-Party Materials and System Features

Jgor may rely on operating-system components such as the camera, photo picker, audio session, and storefront frameworks. Those components are governed by their own terms and privacy statements.

Shop names, addresses, and other real-world details you type are supplied by you; Jgor does not independently verify business information. Any trademarks appearing in your own notes belong to their respective owners and are used only as part of your personal records.

Feature Changes Over Time

We may add, adjust, or retire screens, animations, statistics, or other capabilities as the product evolves. We may also release updates that change how data is stored on the device. Where a change materially affects these Terms, we will publish an updated version.

We do not guarantee that every current layout or sound will remain available indefinitely.

Local Storage and Practical Risks

Your shop and visit archive is kept on the device. Device loss, damage, factory reset, failed backups, or uninstalling the app can result in permanent loss of that journal. Jgor does not provide a separate cloud restore of your visit history inside the application.

You should treat important photos or notes as something you may wish to preserve through your own backup habits outside the app. Use of Jgor is at your own risk with respect to the durability of local files.

Disclaimer and Limits of Liability

Jgor is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, as well as any warranty that the journal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from data loss.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption arising from your use of Jgor. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid specifically for the Jgor software license in the three months before the claim or fifty United States dollars, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, the limits apply only to the extent permitted.

Stopping Use

You may stop using Jgor at any time by deleting the application. We may discontinue the app or deny further access if continued distribution becomes impractical or if use violates these Terms or applicable law.

Provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will continue after your use ends.

Governing Law and Dispute Paths

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America and, where relevant, other applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require a different result.

If a dispute arises from these Terms or your use of Jgor, the parties will first attempt to resolve it through good-faith written correspondence. If that effort fails, either party may pursue resolution before competent dispute resolution bodies with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this section limits rights that mandatory consumer protection rules preserve for you.

General Provisions

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Jgor, and they supersede prior informal understandings on the same subject. If a provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of future enforcement. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the product.

These Terms of Use become effective on September 15, 2026. For clarifications about journaling rules, local storage, or product scope, write to marten.desk@jgorplaces.com. We will respond as reasonably practicable.
